Now through October 20th, 2024, The AACA Museum Presents Vintage Bicycles: Enjoy the Ride! Vintage bicycles are generally bikes produced between the 1920s and the 1990s. Introduced early in the nineteenth century, bicycles enabled people to travel significantly further than they could on foot. As time passed, bikes became the most popular mode of transportation for kids, and today, they continue to provide children and adults with a back-to-basics mode of transportation.
The Enjoy the Ride: Vintage Bicycles exhibit brings back bike-riding memories, like Schwinn and Huffy, when department stores like Montgomery-Ward and Sears were trusted sources for two-wheelers.
Our exhibit takes visitors down memory lane with fifty years of bicycles, from banana seats with sissy bars, ten-speeds with curly handlebars, plus to stingrays and cruisers, come along for the ride!

Port Royal Speedway 8/3/24 410 Sprints, Late Models, & Limited Late Model C

Another gem in Pennsylvania is the Port Royal Speedway. This Speedway is one of the oldest, operating racetracks in the state. The half-mile dirt track opened in 1938 and hosts a weekly schedule of sprint car, late model and pro-stock dirt track racing. Several national touring series visit the track, including World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the All Star Circuit of Champions.
August 3rd, 2043, Port Royal Speedway is hosting 410 Sprints, Late Models, & Limited Late Model Championship (tt) $3,500 at 7pm!

Carlisle Truck Nationals August 2nd - 4th, 2024

Come to one of the largest and most action-packed truck events in the world! The Carlisle Truck Nationals is a must-attend event and has been epicenter for all things truck since 1991. The show runs August 2nd through 4th, 2024, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Check out the lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed out big rigs, SUV's, Custom Vans and the perfectly restored classics at the event celebrating trucks of all kinds. Kids and adults can enjoy monster truck shows plus climb in for a monster truck ride around the grounds, and there will be various wheelie rides and burnout competitions with prizes awarded. There is something for the entire family!
