Another gem in Pennsylvania is the Port Royal Speedway. This Speedway is one of the oldest, operating racetracks in the state. The half-mile dirt track opened in 1938 and hosts a weekly schedule of sprint car, late model and pro-stock dirt track racing. Several national touring series visit the track, including World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the All Star Circuit of Champions.
August 3rd, 2043, Port Royal Speedway is hosting 410 Sprints, Late Models, & Limited Late Model Championship (tt) $3,500 at 7pm!

Carlisle Truck Nationals August 2nd - 4th, 2024

Come to one of the largest and most action-packed truck events in the world! The Carlisle Truck Nationals is a must-attend event and has been epicenter for all things truck since 1991. The show runs August 2nd through 4th, 2024, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Check out the lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed out big rigs, SUV's, Custom Vans and the perfectly restored classics at the event celebrating trucks of all kinds. Kids and adults can enjoy monster truck shows plus climb in for a monster truck ride around the grounds, and there will be various wheelie rides and burnout competitions with prizes awarded. When many people think of Operation Lifesaver they relate it to railroad grade crossing safety. Operation Lifesaver is more than that, it is also about safety on & around railroad tracks. Unfortunately, in the US, a train hits a vehicle or person every 3 hours. A train can be on any track, at any time, and in any direction. Approaching trains can be very quiet and you may not hear them until it is too late.

Many people think they can beat a train, while some are just not paying attention. The end result is the same for both, very few will survive after being hit by a train, whether in a vehicle or on foot.
