The Miniature Railroad Club of York Annual Holiday Open House

The Miniature Railroad Club of York is hosting Holiday Open House Events now through mid-January. Trains will be running on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 5 PM every weekend in December and the first two weekends in January. The Club features a 2,740-square-foot HO layout containing more than 1,200 feet of track with freight and passenger trains running through scenes from around Pennsylvania during the 1960s and 1970s. The MRRCY was formed in 1943 and has held the open house every year since 1946.

COLORFUL BRIDGEVIEW!!

Fall may be almost over, but we are still seeing a lot of colors at The Bridgeview!!
The leaves are gone but the color remains as there have been plenty of colorful and varied locomotive lashups on trains in the Harrisburg PA area. Witness here, the NS 8114 leads a UP Flag unit, and an NS brother across Rockville Bridge on a westbound Intermodal train while passing right by The Bridgeview B&B!
Lately, units from the Norfolk Southern Heritage fleet, BNSF, UP, CP, CN, CSX, KCS, and R. J. Corman have been plying the rails in and around The Bridgeview!! There are a lot more opportunities to see and photograph rail activity, since the leaves are off the trees. Also, don't forget you can observe and photograph trains passing over Historic Rockville Bridge from our sitting room or decks!
