Fort Halifax Festival, Halifax PA May 6th, 2023

Fort Halifax, built in 1756, by the Provincial government to provide safe shelter for wagon trains passing along the Susquehanna River from Fort Hunter to Fort Augusta. The Annual Fort Halifax Festival will be held May 6th, 2023 at the site of the French and Indian War Fort in Halifax PA, and will include, colonial encampments, re-enactments in Period Costumes, craft and skills demonstrations, free children's activities, animal exhibits and prizes. Fort Halifax is a scenic 30 minute drive from The Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast.
