This year, the Rockville Bridge is 121 years old. Constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad between 1900-1902, it is the longest stone arch railroad bridge in the world with forty-eight 70 foot spans, for a total length of 3,820 feet. The bridge crosses the Susquehanna River north of Harrisburg, PA and is still in use today by Norfolk Southern as a vital part of the east-west main line. Lewisburg Celebration of the Arts 4/29/23

April in Lewisburg means it's time for the Annual Lewisburg Celebration of the Arts. This year's celebration is being held April 29th, 2023. The Arts Festival includes over 100 artists from all mediums, displaying their works throughout downtown Lewisburg, PA. There will be performing artists as well, including musical acts, dancers and more. Soldiers' Park will become the Interactive Arts Park and host hands-on activities for children, including a petting zoo. Of course what would a fun festival be without great food! The Lewisburg Arts Festival is sponsored by the Lewisburg Arts Council.

The Whitaker Center presents Sideshow" now through May 14th 2023. A 2014 Broadway Musical Revival based on the true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, who became stars during the Great Depression. SIDE SHOW is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary connection brings them fame but denies them love. Told almost entirely in song, the show follows Violet and Daisy's life from the sideshows of England to America, and from vaudeville to 1930's Hollywood.
