Strasburg Railroad Civil War Days 6/7 & 6/8, 2025

A new event at The Strasburg Railroad this year is Civil War Days June 7th and 8th, 2025, where the summer of 1863 comes alive through a narrated, 45-minute train ride across the picturesque Amish landscape.
In the early summer of 1863, the Confederate Army’s goal was to march north to capture Lancaster and Harrisburg with Philadelphia as their ultimate goal. However, on June 28, 1863, the wooden bridge across the Susquehanna River was burned, preventing the Confederates getting across the river. They turned around and headed west to a small town named Gettysburg, and the rest is history.
But what if the bridge was not burned, allowing the Confederate Army to cross the river, and Union troops had to defend Strasburg from the Confederate forces?
Passengers visiting the Strasburg Rail Road will experience this fictional scenario through, live encampments, roaming uniformed troops, small battle skirmishes, artillery demonstrations, and who knows what might happen on the train!!

34th Annual World War II Weekend June 6-8, 2025 in Reading PA

The 34th Annual Reading Air Show/WWII Weekend is a great place to see WWI and WWII Vintage Airplanes and military vehicles. The show is held in Reading PA June 6th through 8th, 2025 and features many events with over 100 vintage WWII vehicles & airplanes, thousands of re-enactors, allied and axis Camps set up, home front displays, swing dances, USO shows plus much more! June 6th, 2025, Williams Grove Speedway Presents the Lynn Paxton EMMR Legends Classic. Join us for the resurrection of the All Star Circuit of Champions at Williams Grove Speedway featuring the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars along with the Wingless Sportsman! We will also pay tribute to the late Lynn Paxton who was a staple to the Central PA racing scene and well known for his contributions to the creation of the Eastern Museum of Motorsports located down the road in York Springs.. Come experience outdoor excitement as competing drivers race for the Winners Circle.

Spring Fling - Museum of Bus Transportation June 6th & 7th, 2025

The Museum of Bus Transportation invites you to their annual Spring Fling June 6th & 7th, 2025, where visitors can see the largest collection of antique buses on display in the United States. The festivities will be held in and around the AACA Museum in Hershey PA, with displays and a Flea Market. An hourly shuttle bus is provided to the Museum of Bus Transportation storage complex for a great chance to see many of the vehicles not normally on public display. While at the Museum you can also view splendid displays of vintage automobiles in unique scenes and settings!
