Chubby Checker's accomplishments include; first platinum record ever, first artist to receive a Grammy for best rock and roll recording, first live performance at The Super Bowl, just to name a few!

PSAA State Indoor Archery Championships 3/28 - 30 2025

The Pennsylvania State Archery Association proudly presents the State Indoor Archery Championships, March 28th - 30th, 2025 at The PA Farm Show Complex, in Harrisburg PA. This event will include the Annual Indoor Individual and Team Championships, and PSAA Short Indoor Target Round. There will be individual awards in all divisions by classification and team awards by division only.
The goal of the PSAA is to promote archery and sponsor tournaments throughout the State to increase and encourage interest in the sport.

A short 60 mile trip from The Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast is the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville PA where you can tour the site of America's Oldest Brewery. Discover the hand-dug fermentation caves used for storage before refrigeration. This tour is a unique "hands on" walk through type, not "behind glass". 15 miles south on Route 61, is Port Clinton PA where you can get a hearty meal at the Port Clinton Hotel, known for their delicious hamburgers, and generous portions!!
Port Clinton is also the headquarters and shops of The Reading & Northern Railroad.
3 miles south of Port Clinton is Hamburg PA home of Cabelas incredible sporting goods superstore. If you have never been there, it is worth a visit just for the experience.
