The American Music Theatre in Lancaster PA, presents Chubby Checker with Chris Ruggerio, live on March 28th, 2025. Every time Chubby Checker steps onto a stage, he performs an exciting show that is unlike any other. Chubby Checker remains one of the most unique performers out there, and he only gets better with time.
In 1960 Chubby Checker went on American Bandstand where he performed The Twist. Those two minutes and 42 seconds changed the way we dance, forever! The Twist hit #1 on the charts and did so again in 1962.
Chubby Checker's accomplishments include; first platinum record ever, first artist to receive a Grammy for best rock and roll recording, first live performance at The Super Bowl, just to name a few!
