Capital Area Polar Bear Plunge 2/28/26

Want to help support the Special Olympics? Come join us Saturday February 28th, 2026 at Gifford Pinchot State Park for the Annual Capital Area Polar Plunge to benefit local Special Olympics PA programs. There will also be a costume contest, Virtual Balloon Polar Pop, and a "chicken plunge". Even the chicken plungers will receive an official Chicken Tee-shirt.

February 28th & March 1st, 2026, The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra will perform POPS 4: The Golden Age of the Silver Screen .
In this latest edition of A Night at the Movies, relive some of the greatest moments in film which were made even greater with music. It's a survey of scores from the silver screen, including themes from Casablanca, Cinema Paradiso, Gone with the Wind, The Good the Bad, and the Ugly, and others!
