Fort Hunter Sunset Music & Movie Series Every Friday in June

Starting June 5th, 2026, the Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a summer of fun events for the whole family with the Sunset Music & Movie Series at Fort Hunter! This 13-week series will highlight local performing arts organizations and a summer movie series. Pack a picnic basket or purchase from food concessions. Bring your blankets and your lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening of free family fun.

Bird Watching around The Bridgeview B&B

One of the many popular things to do at The Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast is to observe all the birds and wildlife that surround our establishment. Whether it be from our spacious decks, observation room, or even taking a walk along the river, you never know what you are going to see! This time of year is a great to see the many colorful Gold Finches and Baltimore Orioles in their bright mating plumage nesting around the premises. Here are some of some of the recent bird sightings:
Goldfinch, American Red Start, Baltimore Oriole, Bay Breasted Warbler, Belted Kingfisher, Black-Crowned Night Heron, Blue Jay, Brown Thrasher, Brown-Headed Cowbird, Chickadee, Wren, Cedar Waxwings, Chimney Swift, Loon, Merganser, Downy Woodpecker, Kingbird, Phoebe, Towhee, Wood-pewee, Gray Catbird, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, House Finch, Wren, Kildeer, Mallard Duck, Mourning Dove, Northern Cardinal, Orchard Blackbird, Rock Dove, Rough Winged Swallow, Song Sparrow, Tree Swallow, Tufted Titmouse, White Breasted Nuthatch, Wood Ducks, Wood Thrush, Yellow Warbler and Bald Eagles!

Annual Strawberry Festival May 30th & 31st 2026, Biglerville, PA

May 30th & May 31st, 2026 kicks off the fruit festival season at Hollabaugh Brothers, in Biglerville PA with their Annual Strawberry Festival! Get ready to celebrate everything strawberry! Our amazing ice cream tent will be back, for you to enjoy delicious strawberry desserts. Live music will be featured both days, and our bakery will be busy making strawberry sugar cookies, muffins, and much more.
