Special activities for the entire family will focus on the Reading Railroad, one of the most important historical transportation systems in eastern Pennsylvania. Exhibits include an enormous HO scale model railroad depicting operations on the Reading Railroad, displayed by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society, special interpretive tours of the Railroad Museum's collection of Reading Company equipment, and the popular Stewart Junction railway education center will offer hands-on activities for railroaders of all ages.

Passengers board at the 1891 Station in Middletown, Pennsylvania, which was originally built as a freight station and in more recent years converted for use as a passenger station.
