World War II Weekend at Gettysburg, PA. Sept. 19th – 21st, 2025

Gettysburg is packed with history. One of the many re-enactment weekends, is the World War II Weekend September 19th through 21st, 2025! They perform authentic re-creations of Allied and German army camps, complete with original WWII vehicles, as well as programs on WWII medical services, weapons and equipment, communications, military vehicles and soldiers' life. Dozens of vehicles will also be displayed, and a mock Army Air Force bomber squadron mission briefing will be re-enacted. WWII veterans will share their experiences. This annual event features an encampment of several hundred reenactors, WWII vehicles, historians, and veterans. On Saturday evening there is special USO dance, and throughout the weekend special programs on all things World War II will occur.

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing strongly reflects the popularity of open wheel dirt track racing so popular throughout the northeast.
