Stewartstown Railroad Fall Foliage Runs ~ November 1st, 2025

Chartered in 1884, and opened in 1885, the Stewartstown Railroad survives today in very much original condition, and retains its unique charm. Currently, passenger trains operate out of the 1914 Stewartstown Railroad Station, and run the entire length of the 7.4 mile line to New Freedom PA.

Trains and Troops & Swing Train '40s Dance 11/1 & 2, 2025

This November two unique events will be held at The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg PA.
Trains and Troops 2025 is held on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd This is the Museum's annual tribute to the U. S. Armed Forces, American railroads and all those who served, and are serving, overseas and on the home front in defense of our nation.
Also, Taking the Swing Train '40s Dance Saturday, November 1st, the Museum's giant hall comes alive to the sound of Big Band Music from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The dance will be reminiscent of a USO canteen, and guys and gals of all ages are encouraged to attend in uniform or, '40s clothing to help us re-live the past.
