Constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad between 1900-1902, it is the longest stone arch railroad bridge in the world with forty-eight 70 foot spans, for a total length of 3,820 feet. The bridge crosses the Susquehanna River north of Harrisburg, PA and is still in use today by Norfolk Southern as a vital part of the east-west main line.
