The 2024 Carlisle Summerfair June 28th through July 7th, 2024 features great activities including; an Anything Floats race, ice cream social, children's games, handmade crafts show, tours, tournaments, fishing derby, 5K run, fireworks, parade, concerts, music, plays, dances, and a whole lot more! These family-friendly events are offered at no cost.

The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania will once again host Reading Railroad Days June 26th - July 6th, 2024. Special activities for the entire family will focus on the Reading Railroad, one of the most important historical transportation systems in eastern Pennsylvania. Exhibits include an enormous HO scale model railroad depicting operations on the Reading Railroad, displayed by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society, special interpretive tours of the Railroad Museum's collection of Reading Company equipment, and the popular Stewart Junction railway education center will offer hands-on activities for railroaders of all ages.
